Synopsis
"Did you have fun for the past 5 years you left me?" This chilling question marked the beginning of a cold, contractual marriage designed purely for calculation, not love. Ju Taejoon, her husband, only offered dark contempt: "Smile. It doesn’t suit you to look so lifeless when you’ve gotten what you wanted, does it?" Their relationship was a long, dark tunnel of misery.
Hope arrived in the form of a child, a light in the darkness. However, knowing that her son could never thrive in a home poisoned by resentment and a personality like Taejoon’s, she made a desperate choice. She fled, fabricating a lie about finding another man, sacrificing her own happiness for her child’s future.
Five years later, she is found. “Did you enjoy the 5 years?” His voice, laden with numb fury, paralyzed her. The relative freedom she had enjoyed was instantly shattered. “You should’ve lived a good life with that punk before I found you since you won’t be able to do that anymore.”
She manages to turn her stiff body around only to face the man who was both her ex-husband and her first love, now determined to exert total control. “That means I’ll make sure to never lose you again from now on.” This is the story of a twisted, obsessive second chance—a painful reunion where freedom is stripped away and passionate obsession rules.
