Synopsis
For three long years, Ji-hyeok and So-hee maintained the façade of a perfect marriage, living strictly as a show-window couple. Eventually, tired of the charade, they finally decide to pull the plug and file for divorce. The ending seemed predetermined, clean, and inevitable.
However, fate throws a massive wrench into their plans when So-hee discovers she is unexpectedly pregnant with Ji-hyeok’s child. Faced with this overwhelming news, she attempts to hide the truth and desperately pushes the divorce proceedings forward, believing it's the only way. Meanwhile, Ji-hyeok —unaware of the pregnancy —suddenly attempts to halt the separation, creating a painful rift that drives them further apart.
Even after the divorce papers are officially submitted, their connection refuses to die. Through strange coincidences, their paths keep crossing, and with every encounter, So-hee feels her heart race uncontrollably. Is this frantic feeling purely rooted in the fear that Ji-hyeok might discover the child and take them away? Or could it be that within the ruins of this toxic, suffocating relationship, a dangerous mix of lingering affection, deep resentment, and a passionate "hate-love" still pulses beneath the surface, refusing to let either of them move on?
